3 life-changing books for your nightstand #mejane

“Time to read?”

You might be asking me right now.

You’re a go-getter and I wouldn’t be surprised if many nights your head hits the pillow with exhaustion.

You may already have a pile of books on your nightstand, wondering when you’ll get to finishing them.

I suggest taking a good look and asking yourself which ones you truly get excited about reading.

And, if you’d like a few to consider as replacements, here are three life-changing books for your nightstand:

1. Pussy: A Reclamation

Pussy: A ReclamationYes, this is on the top of my list! This provocative book by Regena Thomashauer is required reading for every woman who is hungry to trade in depletion and overwork with being powerfully feminine.

Nancy says, “I wrote this book to reacquaint a woman with that part of herself that is the key to everything she has ever been looking for but has been taught to ignore, push down, and despise.”

According to best-selling author Gabrielle Bernstein, “Pussy is a must-read for all women. Regena’s words and wisdom give us permission to accept pleasure and awaken the dormant parts of our being.

This book clears shame, awakens inspiration, and guides you to trust yourself. I’m deeply moved by this book, and I know it will serve countless women throughout the world.”

2. Worthy: Boost your self-worth to grow your net worth

Worthy: Boost Your Self-Worth to Grow Your Net WorthThis gem of a book authored by Nancy Levin targets the core issue for so many entrepreneurs: money and worthiness.

She says, “In order to truly deal with our money issues, we need to go deep within and explore not just our feelings about money – but also our feeling about ourselves. That’s because at heart, money issues are really issues of self-worth. In other words, our self-worth determines our net worth.”

I love that Nancy goes right to the heart of why money is a source of anxiety for so many people, whether you have a lot of it or not.

She guides you how to get to the root and do the internal work that’s needed to replace feelings of unworthiness with a solid sense of our own value.

3. 12 Week Year: Get more done in 12 weeks than others do in 12 months

The 12 Week YearThis book has changed the way I think about planning my year and has increased my results in a big way.

Most people and organizations think about a year as 12 months. Instead, the author Brian Moran encourages you to think of 12 weeks as a year. It’s a real brain twister!

In his words, “In 12 weeks, there just isn't enough time to get complacent, and urgency increases and intensifies. The 12 Week Year creates focus and clarity on what matters most and a sense of urgency to do it now. In the end more of the important stuff gets done and the impact on results is profound.”
